Hello, so you've found the way to Be. In short, I tell stories through bespoke design. I work on all sorts of projects. Everything from print to web to apps - all different places to tell unique stories. The Way to Be is both a concept and a way of life. It's a collection of initiatives which explore all things creative.

Vintage Qatar Postage Stamps

We ventured to Waitakere this weekend (west side of Auckland) to visit a friend. Since we had a shared interest in vintage collectables he took us to two treasure troves we never knew existed: Just Plane Interesting & Rainbows Relics. For us, it was like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Both places were just filled with strange and wondrous things! We were talking to the lady who ran one of the shops and she said that she had enough stuff at home to be able to fill the place twice over.

ExquisiteNes

Like most New Zealanders, I love my coffee. It’s part of our daily ritual, whether it’s grabbing that much needed caffeine shot before work or enjoying a nice cup over a friendly catch-up.

Urbis Design Day is an annual event, which gives people an exclusive tour of Auckland’s leading interior and spatial design showrooms. Each showroom gets paired up with creatives from different design disciplines, and the challenge is to produce a stand-out installation piece to set the showroom above the rest.

Cupcake Pavilion

The Cupcake Pavilion is an initiative by multidisciplinary design collective OH.NO.SUMO. I had the pleasure of catching-up with the talented team at the Best Awards on Friday. On top of that, it was great to see them receive the prestigious Gold Pin award for The Cupcake Pavilion (along with another silver for Paper Sky), making this post an extra special one. I’m really happy they got the recognition they deserved for the stunning and very clever piece of work – well done guys!
